To encourage local SMEs to engage in innovation and R&D, the Taoyuan City Government has launched the Local Industry Innovation R&D Promotion Program (Local SBIR), covering fields such as electronics and ICT, consumer chemical products, metal and machinery, innovative services, food, and biotechnology & pharmaceuticals.\n\nAfter a rigorous review by an expert committee on innovation services, IRUAV Technology\u2019s project \u201cHigh-Accuracy Solar Power Plant Inspection Information Platform Development Plan\u201d passed the evaluation and was awarded funding under the 2024 Taoyuan City Local SBIR Program.\n\nDuring the related meetings, Taoyuan Mayor Simon Chang emphasized that SBIR applications should integrate AI applications to maximize synergy.
